Family of Late Omane Boamah Announces His Final Funeral Rites

The family of the late former Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah have scheduled his final funeral rites for December.
The event will be held in Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
Per the funeral arrangement, between noon and 6 pm on December 13, there will be a funeral at Jackson’s Park, which will be followed by a thanksgiving service on December 14 morning at St George Catholic Church.
The final rites will take place later in the afternoon at Jackson’s Park in Koforidua.

Omane Boamah was among the eight people who died in the August 6 helicopter crash in Adansi Akrofrom in the Ashanti Region.
On board were Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Alhaji Muniru Mohammed Limuna, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator.
It also claimed the lives of Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Samuel Aboagye, Deputy Director-General, NADMO, Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manden Twum-Ampadu and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.
