NPP Vets Aspiring Flagbearers Today

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has earmarked today, September 23, 2025, to vet its five aspiring 2028 flagbearers.

All five successfully submitted and filed their nominations to contest for the position last month.

They will face a vetting committee chaired by Dr Addo Kufuor at the party’s headquarters in Adabraka in Accra.

The five are Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, Hon. Dr Bryan Acheampong, H. E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Hon. Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum.

The Presidential Primary will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
