Kudus Reacts To Tracy Twum Opener Celebration

West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus has reacted to the imitation of his goal celebration by Black Princesses player Tracy Twum.

The 2023 CAF Interclub player nominee gave Ghana the lead in their semi-final game against Senegal at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 18 and chose to use the Kudus celebration.

She got Ghana on the score sheet when both sides strove for the opener in the early minutes after pouncing on a loose ball in the penalty box and intuitively slotting home the first goal in the 18th minute.

The Ampem Darkoaa player ran off the pitch to get a chair and relaxed on it, a goal celebration initiated by Mohammed Kudus.

The celebration posted by Ghana National Women Team on X, formerly Twitter, grabbed the approving attention of West Ham player who retweeted with a reaction.

He reacted, “Let’s GOOO 🪑♥️🙏🏾.” In the comment section, he encouraged the girls to go for gold.

The Black Princesses won the game by 3-1, qualifying for the finals of the All African Games women’s football after two more goals were netted by forward Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah.

Coach Basigi’s side will be battling for gold when they face Nigeria in the finals on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The game will take place at 8pm and Ghana is expected to continue their in-form and deliver a victory-commanding performance against their rivals.
