Kotoko Confirm Prince Owusu Resignation, Appoint Hamza Obeng as Interim Coach

Asante Kotoko have confirmed that interim head coach Prince Yaw Owusu has stepped down from his position with immediate effect, bringing an end to his short stint in charge of the club.

The Porcupine Warriors made the announcement in an official statement, revealing that the decision was taken by the coach himself in what he described as the best interest of the club. The development comes at a time when Kotoko are struggling to find consistency in results.

“In his resignation letter, the coach stated that his decision was taken in the greatest interest of the club,” the statement read, as the club acknowledged his efforts during a challenging period.
