Call Your Surrogates to Order- Ken Agyapong to Bawumia

The camp of former Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Ken Agyapong, has encouraged former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to call his surrogates to order.

It comes after what it called personal attacks on the former lawmaker seeking to lead the party in the 2028 General elections.

It stated that while their camp consistently focuses on ideas, vision and principle, their opponents have resorted to personal vilification.

“We respectfully but firmly advise Dr Bawumia’s camp to call their surrogates to order. If they choose instead to drag this campaign into the gutter of personal vilification, they will awaken consequences they will come to regret.”

It faulted Dr Bawumia’s silence on the said trend.

“Silence in the face of such conduct is itself an endorsement. By failing to repudiate these attacks, Dr Bawumia and his inner circle have, through inaction, condoned them.”

Meanwhile, it affirmed its commitment to defending truth, protecting integrity and speaking for the grassroots of our great party.

“We will continue to preach peace, unity and discipline within the New Patriotic Party, but peace must not be mistaken for weakness and unity must not be confused with cowardice.”
