I Sometimes Get Disappointed In ‘Ghanaians’- Sista Afia

Ghanaian singer Francisca Gawugah, known as Sista Afia has said she sometimes gets disappointed in some Ghanaians over how they handle ‘fabricated lies’ that pop up in the public domain.

This was in reaction to the alleged debt she owes her ‘bouncer’ who stormed Accra FM to demand payment while the singer was in a live interview session.

“I sometimes get disappointed in some Ghanaians. Would Ghanaians consider it as a publicity stunt if the guy had caused me harm?”, she asked in an interview on United Showbiz with Nana Ama Mcbrown.

Ghanaians are of the view that the brouhaha is a publicity stunt designed by the singer to promote ‘Asuoden’, her new single featuring Kuame Eugene.

But Sista Afia says she wouldn’t put herself in such an embarrassing situation for publicity. According to her, the song began trending as soon as it was released.

“I will never owe anyone. I don’t blame people who think it’s a stunt. I will not engage in ventures like borrowing which will land me in embarrassment. I feel it’s a prank.”

She reiterated she doesn’t know the guy who claims to be one of her bouncers.

“I swear on everything, I don’t know him.”

Although the man has failed to name the one who sent him, Sister Afia has issued an ultimatum to him to reveal who hired him up to do that to her.
