Health Ministry Opens Recruitment For 36th Batch Of Medical And Dental Officers

The Ministry of Health has announced the commencement of recruitment for the 36th batch of Medical Officers and Dentists who have completed their House Job and have been verified by the Medical and Dental Council.

In a public announcement dated July 2, 2026, and signed by Frank Raji, Director of General Administration for the Minister, the Ministry said the recruitment process will begin on Wednesday, 8th July, 2026 at 10:00 am.

Qualified applicants have been directed to formally apply through the Ministry of Health online application portal at https://mohrecruitment.com and to follow the instructions to select their preferred district for posting.

According to the Ministry, available vacancies at this time are under the Ghana Health Service, CHAG, Ahmadiyya, and the Mental Health Authority.

The deadline for submission of applications is Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 6:00 pm.

The Ministry also cautioned applicants against fraudsters, stating that the recruitment process remains transparent and that no payment is required.

“Applicants are therefore advised to be cautious of fraudulent individuals who may claim to offer assistance for a fee. The Ministry advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process,” the statement read.

In addition, the Ministry said the 34th and 35th batches of Medical and Dental Officers who applied previously but were not posted may also participate in this recruitment.

However, participation by this group will be limited to their original regions, provided vacancies remain.

The Ministry called for the usual cooperation from applicants as it undertakes the exercise.
