GHANA’s MAJORITY LEADER IS C’WEALTH PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION VICE-CHAIR

Member of Parliament for Suame and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu is Acting Vice Chairperson for the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA).
According to the Association’s Secretary-General, Stephen Twigg , Ghana’s Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu polled 16 votes as against 6 votes of Gerry Brownlee of New Zealand.
This was after a virtual ballot cast by the Executive Committee of CPA.
“I am delighted to confirm that Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu from the CPA Africa Region, has been voted by the Executive Committee to be the CPA Acting Vice-Chairperson.
“We look forward to welcoming Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu at the upcoming Executive Committee
The next meeting of the CPA is September 27 – 30, 2021.
