Ghanaians are Eager for Mahama’s Return to Presidency, Says Critic

Mr. Baah Acheamfuo, a critic of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed his belief that it is not just the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that wants John Dramani Mahama as President, but Ghanaians as a whole.

Speaking on Nkwantannanso on May 15, Acheamfuo stated that Ghanaians are well aware of what Mahama accomplished during his previous tenure as President, and that is why they want him back in the highest office of the land.

He went on to say that the achievements of Mahama during his presidency were numerous and impressive, which is enough to convince Ghanaians to give him another chance.

“We had no choice but to listen to the people and bring back Mahama,” he stated.

Acheamfuo’s comments come on the heels of John Mahama’s landslide victory in the NDC primaries, which has positioned him as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2024 general elections.

With the 2024 elections fast approaching, it remains to be seen whether Ghanaians will indeed elect Mahama back into office.
