Ghana, France Reaffirm Defence Partnership as French Evoy Meets Deputy Defence Minister 

Ghana and France have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening defence cooperation, with discussions centred on strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two countries.

Deputy Minister of Defence, Brogya Genfi, received the French Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Diarra Dimé-Labille, at the Square, Ministry of Defence (Ghana) today.

In a Facebook post after the meeting, Mr Genfi said their discussions focused on the long-standing defence partnership between Ghana and France.

“Her visit underscores the deep bonds of cooperation and mutual respect that continue to strengthen the relationship between our two countries,” he stated.

The meeting comes at a time when Ghana is expanding security collaborations with international partners to address regional security challenges, including terrorism, maritime safety, and peacekeeping.

France has been a key partner to Ghana in areas of military training, equipment support, and joint security operations in the sub-region.
