Foreign Affairs Ministry To Refund Monies To 48-Paged Passport Applicants

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced it will refund monies to applicants of the 48-paged passport booklet.

This is due to the unavailability of the 48pages booklet.

The shortage is attributed to a surge in demand and challenges in the supply chain.

“The Ministry is taking appropriate steps to ensure that necessary refunds are made to qualified applicants in due course”, the Ministry noted.

Meanwhile, the Ministry indicated that the 32-paged passport booklet, which some months back was out of stock, is now available.

It noted that persons who have already applied for the 48-paged passport booklet do not need to submit another application for the 32-paged booklet.

“The conversion will be done at no further cost to such applicants”, it added.
