Kumasi High Court Rules Both Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni are Wives of Daddy Lumba
The Kumasi High Court has ruled that both Akosua Serwaa Fosuh and Priscila Ofori, also known as Odo Broni, are wives of the late highlife musician Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
The ruling was delivered on November 28, 2025, by Justice Dorinda Smith Arthur, the presiding judge.
She ruled that the women end the feud and concentrate on giving the legend a befitting funeral.
The ruling means that the two will perform widowhood rites.
Akosua Serwaa, who is based in Germany, went to court to seek recognition as the sole legal wife of the late musician.
Meanwhile, the court heard that Odo Broni, who shared six children with Daddy Lumba, underwent a customary marriage.
The funeral of the musician is expected to take place on December 13.
