Fire Guts Flour Mill Ltd Tema Production House

Firefighters are currently battling a fierce fire that has gutted the Flour Mill Ltd production house, formerly GHAPOHA yard, in Tema in the Greater Accra Region.

The industrial fire started on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, morning.

Scenes from the firefighting exercise showed smoke billowing from sections of the high-rise building housing the production section.

A video by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) captured personnel of the Service racing against time to contain the flames with water.

According to the GNFS, three (3) fire engines are battling an industrial fire.

“Rigorous firefighting underway to contain the blaze,” it added.
