21-year-old Arrested For Stabbing Fire Officer

The Ghana National Fire Service has confirmed the arrest of a 21-year-old for allegedly stabbing a fire officer who was responding to a fire outbreak at Adjiringano.
Identified as Azumah Sampson, the suspect was arrested by Fire Officers and handed over to the police.
The suspect is now in Police custody, assisting with investigations, the GNFS confirmed in a brief statement.
The victim was stabbed on his left arm and was rushed to Unity Clinic at Madina.
Details surrounding the incident remain scanty; however, the Service earlier reported that the perpetrator fled the scene after the heinous crime on Friday night.
It further promised a special reward for anyone who helped to find the suspect.
