Creative Arts Agency Announces Global Vigil In Honour Of Daddy Lumba

The Creative Arts Agency has announced a global vigil in honour of legendary Ghanaian highlife musician Daddy Lumba.

In Ghana, the event will be held at the Independence Square in Accra on August 2, 2025, from 6pm to 10 pm.

It will concurrently run in the United Kingdom, Germany, United States of America and the Netherlands.

“Your presence will not only honour the legacy of an icon but also unite us in celebrating the power of music, culture and community,” the CAA said.

Daddy Lumba passed away on July 26, 2025, at a medical facility after a short illness.
