Dominic Nitiwul Ranks 1st On Global Info Analytics MP Rankings

The Member of Parliament for Bimbila Constituency, Dominic Aduna Bingab Nitiwul has emerged as the best legislator in Ghana according to a survey analysing the performance.

The survey was done by Global Info Analytics.

It reviewed the performance ranking of MPs from 82 constituencies as of January 2023.

The ruling New Patriotic Party’s Dan Botwe of Okere Constituency ranked second scoring 90%. He is followed by two National Democratic Congress (NDC) legislators: MP for Akatsi South, Ahiafor Bernard (85%) and Atiwa East, Abena Osei-Asare (83%).

Sitting at the bottom is MP for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa MP, Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah (2%), Atwima Nwabiagya North MP, Benito Owusu-Bio (1%) and Gomoa East MP, Desmond De-Graft Paitoo (1%).

The rankings were contended by one social media user who thought the MP for the Krowor constituency was misplaced.

“I have no doubt that your research is now a kooko-induced one. How on earth will research place the Krowor MP 48 and the Ledzokuku MP 66, I mean how? In terms of everything, the Krowor MP is far ahead- programs, visibility, and affability.”

But a reply from Info Analytics noted that the decision was made by voters.

“Maybe we need to educate you on ranking. The views of voters in two different constituencies will never be same. I hope this education is helpful because it is not our assessment but those of the voters.”
