Domeabrahene Commissions Ultramodern Classroom Block

Nana Kusi Oboadum, the Chief of Domeabra in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region, has commissioned a new 8-unit classroom block for the Domeabra Methodist Junior High School.

The ultramodern building was officially opened on April 21, 2023, in the presence of several high-profile personalities, including Otumfuo Hiahene, Nana Prof Oheneba Boachie Agyei Woahene, Queen Mothers in the area, and various government officials.

Hon. John Kumah, the MP for Ejisu and Deputy Finance Minister, who was also present, praised Nana Kusi Oboadum for his efforts to improve education in the community. He recalled the command of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, urging all chiefs in the Asante Kingdom to prioritize development, and commended the Domeabrahene for heeding the call.

The Otumfuo Hiahene, Prof Oheneba Boachie Agyei Woahene, also applauded Nana Kusi Oboadum for his strides in improving education in his community. He called on other chiefs to follow in the footsteps of the Domeabrahene and prioritize education to improve the lives of their people.

In his remarks, Nana Kusi Oboadum expressed his motivation to address educational challenges in his community, inspired by the efforts of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to promote education and development in the Ashanti Region. The commissioning of the new classroom block is a testament to his commitment to the betterment of his community.
