2026 WCQ: Ghana To Hold 3 Training Sessions Before CAR Clash

The Black Stars of Ghana are scheduled to hold three training sessions in preparation for their matches against the Central African Republic (CAR) in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
This will follow the opening of camp this weekend in Casablanca, Morocco.
“Otto Addo is expected to have the full team complement by Monday, allowing for adequate preparation for the match,” the Director of Communication at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) said in a statement on Thursday.
Their first training will be on Sunday, and then on Monday at 6 pm, before the final training on Tuesday at 4 pm.
Ghana will face the Central African Republic at Stade d’Honneur de Meknes at 16h00 GMT on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
The team is scheduled to hold a recovery training on Thursday morning before departing for Accra.
In Ghana, they will train at the Accra Sports Stadium at 5:30 pm on Friday and Saturday and then host Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium at 19h00 GMT on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
The Black Stars are chasing a fifth World Cup appearance, currently sitting atop Group I with 19 points and just two matches remaining in the qualifiers.
