{Watch} State Burial for Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings

A state burial is currently ongoing for Ghana’s former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

The event is ongoing at the Black Star Square today, November 28, where thousands have gathered to bid farewell to the former leader.

Present at the funeral is President John Dramani Mahama.

Addressing the press on November 18, 2025, Oheneba Akwasi Abayie, the Otumfuo Akomforehene, noted that the state funeral will be the final process for her transition.

“We will end everything with the state funeral. We won’t hold any other funeral, neither in her hometown nor at her residence.”
