Adesuapa Foundation Commissions Two Units Classroom Block, Teachers Accommodation At Agyeibikrom *

Adesuapa Foundation in Germany has commissioned a two-unit classroom block and teachers’ accommodation At Agyeibikrom a suburb of Kunsu in the Ahafo Ano South West District in the Ashanti region.

Commissioning the projects, Project Manager of Adesuapa Fundation, Mr Kamkam Boadu said the foundation is committed to providing support for young ones particularly in the area of education to ensure brighter future for them.

He said it is not the first time the foundation is providing such support but has been engaged in this for many years and would continue to support government in that regard.

The German counterpart Madam Christine Mueller who is supporting Adesuapa Foundation, said she promised to help the community with a classroom block when she visited four years ago.

The District Chief Executive Officer for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon Joseph Frimpong Bonsu, appreciated the NPP government and commented their MP, Hon Johnson Kwaku Adu for ensuring that the district gets its fair share of GETFUND projects. He indicated that so far, 22 projects have been initiated to boost education in the area.

He also advised parents to support their children in education instead of buying things for functions.

The headmaster of Agyeibikrom primary school Mr. Owusu Elvis told Opemsuo reporter Adwoa Serwaa Yonkodo that, teachers have refused to accept postings to the community while the rests have gone for transfer to another school due to lack of social amenities.
