ADASS Shooting: I’m Not Going Back to School; Victim After Gaining Sight

Suzzy Adwoa Pinamang, the ADASS shooting victim, is apprehensive about returning to school after her successful surgery.
The teenager lost her sight after her classmate accidentally fired a gun he had sneaked into the school.
She returned to Ghana on Thursday night after undergoing a procedure to restore her sight in the United Kingdom (UK).
In an interview on her return, she ruled out returning to school.
“I won’t go back.”
Asked the reason for the decision, she said she was afraid. Her brother immediately countered and talked her out of the idea.
She further expressed her immense gratitude to her medical sponsor, Mr Ibrahim Mahama, for the support.
Her elder brother who had been on the trip with her urged Ghanaians to keep the business mogul in prayers.
“May God bless him for what he has done for my sister. I know the whole world has seen it. He is a wonderful person given to us as a blessing. I implore everyone to pray for him so that he continues to do what he does…By God’s grace, we have gotten what we expected.”
Suzzy was shot in school on April 4 by her classmate with a locally manufactured pistol loaded with one BB round.
