Atta Mills’ 10th Anniversary Begins Today – Sam Mills Unveils Events To Take Place
Brother for the late President His Excellency Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, and MP for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo Constituency, Hon. Samuel Atta Mills has announced that the 10th anniversary of the late president begins today, Friday 22nd July 2022.
Unveiling series of activities to be taking place, the MP said the Muslim community will visit the Asomdwee Park to offer prayer to the late president today, Friday 22nd July 2022.
According to him, on Sunday 24th July 2022, between 12 and 1pm, shall be a special service in honour of the late J.E.A Mills coupled with all the necessary customary procedures that have to be held to make the occasion a remarkable one.
Hon. Samuel Atta Mills highlighted that special invitations have been given to the government, the Presidency, and all state officials who would be present to grace the occasion and also took the opportunity to invite the public to be present to make the late President’s 10th anniversary an incredible one.
He stated that the Chairman of the Council of State and Juabenmanhene, Daasebre Otuo siriboe II would chair the program into success.
There shall be a special speech to be read in honour of the late J.E.A Mills at the Asomdwee Park by Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata on Tuesday 26th July 2022, he added.
However, Hon. Samuel Atta Mills reiterated that the family including him has not received an invitation from the Atta Mills Institute that has slated the commissioning of Asomdwee Park on Saturday 23th July, 2022.
