Two Patrol Officers Killed At Post
Two police officers have been killed by criminals while at the post, the Ghana Police Service has put out.
The two officers were undertaking patrol duties when the heinous crime was committed against them according to the police.
The incident happened on Wednesday, December 15 within Zuarungu Township in the Upper East Region.
“Black Wednesday for the Ghana Police Service as we have lost 2 of our officers through the activities of criminals, while on patrols this night within the Zuarungu Township to safeguard life and property”, a statement from the police reported.
Families of the deceased have been contacted and informed.
“Meanwhile, we are appealing to members of the public who witnessed the dastardly act to be circumspect with information pertaining to the incident”, the police appealed.
