Trade Minister in China to Woo Investors

The Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, has led a delegation to China to promote investment opportunities in Ghana.

Under the directive of the President of the Republic, Elizabeth will deliver a keynote address at the China–Ghana Investment Forum.

Her address will focus on the zero-tariff agreement between the two countries, the Ghana Reset Agenda, and market access opportunities under ECOWAS and AfCFTA, while engaging Chinese investors.

During the visit, the Trade Minister will also lead the delegation on tours of key manufacturing facilities, including recycled industries, plastics, chemical and pharmaceutical plants.

The Minister is accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. John Dumelo and other senior officials.

Her delegation also comprises representatives from the private sector.
