Asanteman Council Convenes Today at Manhyia Palace

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has summoned members of the Asanteman Council to a meeting at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi today, Monday, August 11, 2025.

According to an official notice signed by Kwame Adusei Agyemang, Registrar of the Kumasi Traditional Council (KTC), the meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. prompt.

Attendance is mandatory for all members of the Asanteman Council, divisional heads of the KTC, and all relevant parties.

While the agenda for the meeting was not disclosed in the invitation, the mandatory nature of the gathering indicates it is of significant importance to the Asante Kingdom.

The invitation, dated August 7, 2025, was issued under the directive of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
