See Black Queens Squad For Upcoming Friendlies

Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Björkegren has listed his squad to face Les Éléphants in a friendly match in Côte d’Ivoire.

The game will take place on May 30, followed by a second friendly four days later on June 3.

The squad of twenty-four players will go into the games as part of preparations for the  Women’s Africa Cup of Nations trophy, to be hosted from July 5 to 26, 2025.

This will be the third friendly for the national team in 2025, following the second one against Senegal last month.

The Squad includes Ampem Darkoa Ladies midfielder Nancy Amoh and Northern Ladies goalkeeper Afi Amenyaku, who have earned their maiden call-ups after impressing the technical team in the earlier camp at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram.

Abigail Kofi Kim (Ankara BB Fomget) and former Black Princesses defender Louisa Animwaa (Valadares) have also earned their maiden call-ups, while Grace Acheampong (TP Mazembe) and Alice Kusi (Al Ahli) are making a return to the squad.
