Interior Minister Resets Nkwanta Curfew to 10 pm – 4 am

Effective today, the people of Nkwanta in the Nkwanta South Municipality in the Oti Region will be under curfew from the hours of 10 pm to 4 am.

This renewal followed the advice of the Oti Regional Security Council, he said in a statement issued on June 6, 2025.

“Government wishes to appeal to all to exercise restraint and to use the established mechanisms for the resolution of all their conflicts and disputes.”

Meanwhile, he maintained the ban on all persons in Nkwanta Township and its environs from carrying arms, ammunition or any offensive weapons.

“Any persons found with any arms or ammunition will be arrested and prosecuted,” he stressed.
