Suame Interchange Works “Progressing Steadily” as Rango Runs Day and Night Shifts- Amoakohene

Construction work on the Suame Interchange is progressing steadily, with contractor Rango Construction operating round-the-clock to meet deadlines for the first phase of the project.
Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, who shared an update on Facebook this morning, said activity at the site is “impressive” and that every passing day brings the region closer to a modern transport system.
According to him, the continuous day and night shifts are aimed at ensuring the timely delivery of the first phase of the flyovers.
He noted that the completed interchange is expected to significantly improve mobility, reduce travel time, and enhance economic activity across the Greater Kumasi area.
Dr Amoakohene commended President John Dramani Mahama for what he described as a bold infrastructure agenda.
He also expressed appreciation to the Minister for Roads and Highways for “strong leadership and supervision” of the national project.
“The work continues, and so does our commitment to delivering quality infrastructure for the people of Ashanti and Ghana,” the Regional Minister added.
The Suame Interchange is one of the flagship road projects under the government’s efforts to ease congestion and modernise transport infrastructure in Kumasi, Ghana’s second-largest city.
