Sam George Calls For Security Reinforcement In His Constituency

Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam George has called on the Ghana Police Service headed by the Inspector General of Police, George Akufo Dampare to deploy his men to his constituency to instil peace and security.

The MP tweeted a video of the chaos among some New Patriotic Party (NPP) members in his constituency over the sale of polling station executive forms.

A portion of his tweet said, “Dear @GhPoliceService please tell IGP Dampaare to send support to Ningo-Prampram. The NPP are fighting over polling station forms.”

Mockingly, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP asserted that his victory in the next General election will be overwhelming compared to his victory in the 2020 elections seeing the cracks developing among the opponent.

“Even when they were not fighting over forms, we beat them with 30,000 votes margin. As for now di3r, the margin go be one million thousand oh! 🦁🤣”, he ridiculed.

At parts of the NPP offices across the country including the Manhyia North, Ningo Prampram, and the Akuapem South Municipality of the Eastern region, contenders have accused constituency executives of hoarding nomination forms for incumbent polling station executives, “bootlickers” and party favourites.
