NCCE Chairperson Quits

The chairperson for the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Madam Josephine Nkrumah has announced her decision to resign.

A resignation letter dated February 21, 2022, and sighted by opemsuo.com, said her resignation will take effect on April 30, 2022.

“Please accept my warm compliments as I notify you of my resignation as Chairperson of this commission effective April 30, 2022”, a portion of the statement read.

She has been in the position of NCE Chairperson since April 1, 2015.

“I would like to thank each and every one of you for your cooperation and support during my service to the country as chairperson. It has been an honour and a pleasure working with you”, she said.

The letter however failed to relay the reason behind the decision to resign.
