Rev Owusu Bempah Allegedly Swindled ₵40k By Lady Pastor
Rev Elijah Owusu Bempah has alleged that a Prophetess by the name Elizabeth Danqah swindled him of an accumulated amount of GHC40,000.
Recounting his “ordeal” on Opemsuo radio’s M’asem Show hosted by Afia Anima, the pastor said he was introduced to the prophetess by a passenger he granted service to while he worked as a driver.
According to him, the plan was to spiritually extract his gold at her residence and then sanctify it later.
He noted that he initially paid GHC30,000 to the Secretary of the prophetess and later added GHc10,000 in bits.
“The plan was to extract the gold and sanctify it within two weeks. I decided to sell my car to get a whopping amount of money. I paid the money to the woman’s secretary whose name is Sofo Paul. In a day, she could “extract” the gold of about thirty people including traditional rulers.
“Later, we were told she had been bitten by a snake so we resorted to prayers and she survived. She then told us she would perform the needed rituals on the gold after a year because she was pregnant and the sting of the snake that bit her had affected her pregnancy. When the set date was due, she said she had given birth and so needed about three months to attend to us.”
Owusu Bempah also accused the Lady prophetess of contracting men to kill him once after the woman threatened him.
“I was attacked by two men wielding machetes after visiting the prophetess in her home for my money with my family.”
Reacting to this, Prophetess Elizabeth who is the head pastor of King Solomon Universal Temple denied some of the allegations.
“It is not true. He only paid GHC5000 and not GHC40,000. It was for a spiritual art to extract gold left for him by his grandparent. I extracted the gold for him. I’m in the process of performing a spiritual activity for him”, she said.
She also indicated that the amount paid for “the spiritual art” is not refundable.
Asked if she went to the site to extract the gold, she said she only deals in spiritual extractions at a charge which she has done.
