Otto Addo Names Squad For Mali, CAR Qualifiers Tomorrow

The squad to prepare and face Mali and the Central Africa Republic (CAR) in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier will be unveiled on Wednesday, May 28, 2024.

Head coach Otto Addo will name his men to face the two teams at a scheduled press conference at the Headquarters of the FA in Accra when he meets the press for the first time since his permanent takeover of the Black Stars this year.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) in a statement on Tuesday said the presser would be used to announce Otto’s ambition and plans for the team as he take the team for the second time.

“This engagement is to highlight his plans and ambitions for the team and to announce his squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic.”

The press conference would be streamed on all the FA’s social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube and the GFA App.

Ghana will face Mali on June 6 in Bamako before their clash with Central Africa Republic in Kumasi on June 10.

In their first two qualifiers, the Black Stars won against Madagascar and lost to Comoros.
