Oko Boye Shows Appreciation After Election As Ledzokuku Candidate

One-time Member of Parliament (MP), Bernard Oko Boye has expressed his appreciation to delegates in the Ledzokuku constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

It comes on the back of his re-election as the New Patriotic Party’s candidate for the 2024 General Elections.

He came against Nii Ashitey Ollennu and Ibrahim Adjei in the election over the weekend.

Oko Boye, who now heads the National Insurance Authority (NHIA) polled 901, while Nii Ashitey Ollennu and Ibrahim Adjei had 357 and 180 votes respectively.

He took to his X page on Sunday to relay his heartfelt message to the delegates and his maker after the parliamentary primary.

“We thank God for victory, the battle is still the Lord’s. Thank you LEDZOKUKU,” he posted.

He will face off with the incumbent legislator from the opposition National Democratic Congress, Ben Ayiku in December 2024.

Oko Boye was elected MP for the Ledzokuku Constituency in 2016 and got toppled in the 2020 elections by the incumbent MP.
