2024/2025 Season Proved Resilience, Passion, and Growth Of Domestic Football- Kurt

The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has posited that the just-ended season was a strong testament to domestic football’s resilience, passion and growth.
It is his opinion that Ghana football is on the right track to revival and excellence.
“This season has once again proven the resilience, passion, and growth of our domestic game. From the electrifying matchdays to the emergence of young talents and the unwavering support from fans across the country, we have collectively demonstrated that Ghana football is on a resolute path of revival and excellence.”
He therefore expressed his gratitude to the 18 clubs and other stakeholders including match officials, administrators, medical teams, groundsmen, volunteers, media partners and supporters for their contribution to the season’s successes.
Reflecting on the “regrettable” and “unfortunate” incidents that characterized some games, he said they were critical reminders of the work that still lies ahead in shaping a safer, more respectful football culture.
In the next season, he said he was focused on strengthening the foundation of Ghana football for improvement and “true greatness”.
“The Ghana Football Association remains firmly committed to strengthening education at the club level and enhancing matchday protocols to ensure a more secure and inclusive environment for players, officials, and fans alike.”
