United Seal Deal On Onana

Manchester United have sealed a deal with Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana on an almost £50m, according to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano.

He reports that the deal was sealed last night for a move which will be effective until 2028.

The retired Cameroonian national player will replace David de Gea, who left United last month after failing to agree terms on a new contract.

Onana had seven years at Ajax before moving to Inter where he spent a year.

Romano reports that the 27-year-old and United are yet to complete the paper works and a medical test.

The Club is yet to release a statement on the new signing.

Onana kept eight clean sheets in 24 Serie A games as Inter finished third and also kept eight clean sheets in 13 matches in the Champions League last season – the most of any goalkeeper in the competition, BBC reports.
