Medeama Take On Yanga Today

Ghana’s top-flight league side Medeama Sporting Club will host Tanzania’s Young Africans Sporting Club in the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Champions League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi today.

The match will be the Yellow and Mauves’ third group game after a loss and win against Al Ahly and CR Belouizdad respectively.

With three points at hand, the Tarkwa-based club are now third in Group D behind second-placed CR Belouizdad and the defending champions who are leading with four points.

Yanga on the other hand will be seeking their first win after drawing and losing their first two games against Al Ahly and CR Belouizdad. They hold only a point and are bottom of the log.

Today’s match will begin at 4 pm in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

After today’s game, Medeama will prepare to face off with the Yanga in Tanzania on December 20 before a return leg against Al Ahly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on February 23, 2024, and then the showdown against CR Belouizdad on March 1, 2024.
