Mahama Reaffirms Private Sector Commitment

President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the private sector as the central driver of Ghana’s economic transformation.

Speaking at the 10th Ghana CEO Summit in Accra, the President told business leaders, investors and policymakers that economic transformation must be felt in the daily lives of Ghanaians and not only reflected in macroeconomic statistics.

He assured the business community that the government remains focused on creating an enabling environment for business growth and job creation.

“When businesses thrive, Government succeeds, and the nation prospers,” President Mahama said.

He stressed that stronger public-private sector partnerships are critical to advancing national development and delivering tangible improvements for citizens.

In recognition of his commitment to deepening collaboration between government and the private sector, President Mahama was appointed Patron of the Ghana CEO Summit during the event.

The summit brought together key stakeholders in Ghana’s business and policy landscape.

Those present included Presidential Advisor and Aide Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Chief Executives Network Ernest De-Graft Egyir, Governor of the Bank of Ghana Dr Johnson Pandit Asiama, and Chief Executive Officer of Telecel Ghana Patricia Obo-Nai, alongside other distinguished business leaders and policymakers.

The 10th edition of the Ghana CEO Summit continues to serve as a platform for dialogue between government and industry on policies, investments, and strategies aimed at accelerating Ghana’s growth and competitiveness.
