Dormaa East MP Urges Women to Stay Hopeful Regardless of Age

The Member of Parliament for Dormaa East Constituency, Hon. Rachel Amma Owusua, has urged women, particularly the elderly, not to give up on life due to their age.
Celebrating her birthday, the MP used the occasion to encourage women to contribute to national development, regardless of their age.
The Member of Parliament said she is committed to helping the youth and, particularly, women. “I’m willing to help the youth, community, and women so that my fellow elderly women can learn from me and not lose hope,” she stated. “If any woman desires to serve humanity and has no health challenges, I encourage you to take a bold step.”
Hon. Amma Owusua also reaffirmed her commitment to fulfilling her campaign promises to her constituents, expressing confidence in her ability to deliver with good health and divine guidance.
Additionally, the MP advised young girls not to engage in premarital sex due to financial dependence on men for essential needs like sanitary pads. She assured them of her support in providing financial assistance for such necessities.
She concluded by giving thanks to Almighty God for adding a year to her age and for the opportunity to become an MP for Dormaa East at an advanced age.
