Lady Julia Osei Tutu Charges Young Women To Use Technology Judiciously
The wife of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Lady Julia Osei Tutu has admonished young women in Ghana to maximize the advantages of Technology for their betterment.
According to the King’s wife, the usefulness of Technology has no measure, but the onus lies on the individuals to use it to his or her advantage.
Speaking at the Lady Julia’s Mentorship Masterclass 2023 under the theme; DigitAll: Ensuring Today’s Technology Benefits All Girls and Women held at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, the King’s wife underscored the need for young women to take advantage of the availability of Technology.
“Technologies are improving day by day that benefits people in several ways. However, one needs to know how to use them properly in life that will help achieve goals.”
“Our generation is not like yours, you can easily access information now to make yourself useful unlike ours, so don’t waste the golden opportunity you have.”
She added that young women should be mindful of the disadvantages of Technology in order not to endanger their future.
“As we are talking about the numerous merits of Technology, let me add that there are a whole lot of disadvantages that can endanger or halt your progress. Use Technology judiciously to better your life.”
Lady Julia’s Mentorship Masterclass 2023 was a program organised by Otumfuo Osei Tutu Foundation in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
The event attracted many dignitaries and students of second cycle institutions.
