Fuel Shortage Anticipated to Hit Ghana’s Aviation

There is an imminent fuel shortage that will affect the aviation sector of the country, according to the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).

This was communicated in Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) to domestic flight operators.

The shortage is expected from Wednesday, 22 July to Sunday, 27 July 2025.

In response to this, Passion Air has urged passengers to brace for interruptions in flights across all routes.

“As a result, we expect significant disruptions to our flight operations across all routes during this period.

“We kindly advise our valued passengers and the public to stay informed by contacting our customer service team on 0800 221 221 for the latest updates and assistance.”

 

It further apologised for any inconvenience caused and appreciated your patience and understanding.
