Man Behind Viral Police Threat Arrested
The police have arrested the man behind the viral video threatening to shoot any police officer he encounters.
Israel Agbo Forson was arrested at his residence in North Legon on June 23, 2025, through an intelligence-led operation.
The 32-year-old suspect has since been given a police enquiry bail and is assisting with ongoing investigations.
The Service used the occasion to discourage public incitement.
“The Ghana Police Service once again condemns in the strongest terms acts of incitement, threats, and obstruction against law enforcement officers. Such conduct is not only unlawful but also undermines public peace and the authority of the Police.”
It reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order and will take the necessary steps to bring persons who engage in criminal acts to justice.
