U/R: Two Wanted Thieves Arrested
The police have arrested two suspects for their alleged involvement in thefts and robberies in the Wa metropolis.
Identified as Abdulai Ibrahim, 34, and Kipo Ibrahim, 36, the two were arrested by the Upper West Regional Police Command on March 29, 2025.
“The suspects had been on the police wanted list for robbery and stealing of motorbikes in the Danko and Napogbakole areas of the Wa Metropolis.”
A search conducted at their hideout led to the recovery of seven motorbikes and three number plates with registration numbers M-24-UW 4134, M-21-UW 6468, and M-20-UW 2846.
Both accused persons were put before the Wa District Magistrate court on Friday, April 4, 2025, and have since been remanded into police custody to reappear before the court on Monday, April 28, 2025.
