Ghana Is 66 Years But Has A Bleak Future- Fuseini Donkor

Honourable Fuseini Donkor, former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Afram Plains, has stated that although Ghana has marked 66 years since independence, it has a bleak future.

Mr Donkor explained that the country has grown in age but is weak.

“We still go to International Monetary Fund (IMF) for money. A country that says it has grown does not totally depend on loans.”

“As I speak, the debt of the nation is Ghc 575 Billion. Within 6 years President Nana Addo Dankwa has borrowed 413 billion”.

In an interview with Kwabena Owusu Danquah (KOD) on Opemsuo radio’s political show, NKWANTANSO, Fuseini Donkor said, “today should be a day of sober reflection instead of the funfair. Why is it that today that we don’t have money, and you are spending the little we have to refurbish the stadium for the independence day celebration?”
