GHANA HAS OVER 51 % SHARES IN AGYAPA

The Chief Executive Officer for the Mineral Income Investment Fund (MIIF),Yaw Baah has unraveled that Ghana has a share over 51% in Agyapa Company.
As an international finance company they are permitted to trade on an international and local level.
“Agyapa is a company initiated from MIIF, which belongs to the country,everything is transparent”
 

Government initiated MIIF in order to manage income from Ghana’s mineral production: royalties and fund.
“We have created an account with bank of Ghana anyone can confirm, we have an account the MIIF fund from which Agyapa was established”
A separate account: MIIF Fund has been created with Bank of Ghana from which Agyapa company emanated.
The company is opened for share investment to purchase shares where the nation stands the chance of enjoying its dividends.
 

Mr Baah accounted to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II during a visit that all activities of Agyapa is transparent and that it has assumed international status.
Where Ghana can go to other countries and make investments, he added.
The Chief Executive Officer for the Mineral Income Investment Fund (MIIF), Yaw Baah was accompanied by the management of the fund.
