Asanteman Mourns: We’d Fight Death for Our Queen If It Could Be Conquered – Justin Kodua Frimpong

Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong has underscored the intensity of the loss of Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the late Queen of the Asante Kingdom.

At the One-week Observation currently ongoing at the Manhyia Palace, the politician who attended in his capacity as a courtier of the Asantehene expressed the heaviness of his heart.

He emphasised that an offensive would have been launched at death, had it been a human.

“We have suffered a great loss. Men are in great pain. If death were a conquerable foe, we’d battle it fiercely and take back our Queen, but as the saying goes, death is an inevitable reality.”

According to him, Her Majesty’s motherly figure, selflessness and commitment to Asante traditions will be greatly missed.

“The Queen’s motherly nature was evident in her nurturing spirit and care for her people. Her Majesty was a source of comfort, guidance, and support, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her maternal instincts extended beyond her immediate family to encompass the entire community, earning her the love and respect of all.”
