Fire Engulfs 8-Bedroom House at Tesano
On Wednesday morning, October 25, fire engulfed an eight-bedroom house situated near Charleston Hotel in Tesano.
The raging inferno left the occupants of the residence unharmed, but their treasured belongings turned to ashes as the flames consumed the entire structure.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) went live on Facebook during their attempt to douse the raging flames.
The nine-minute video showed personnel of the service busily fighting the fire which could be spotted from all angles of the storey building.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
In the first quarter of 2023, Statistics from the Ghana National Fire Service showed a total of 2,177 fire outbreaks, 9.4% lower than the same period last year.
The service attributed the reduction to enhanced and intensified public education campaigns on the dangers and effects of fire.
