ECG Restores Vending and Payment Systems After Flood Disruption

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has fully restored its Vending Systems and Payment platforms that were disrupted by recent floods, the Company announced on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
ECG said repair efforts on the affected systems have been completed, and customers can now purchase electricity credit again.
According to the notice, customers may top up through the PowerApp or at the nearest ECG vending point.
The Company advised customers who encounter any challenges with vending to contact its Contact Centre on 0302 611 or reach out via its official social media handles @ECGghOfficial.
ECG also expressed appreciation to customers for their understanding and cooperation during the period of disruption.
