Missing Senior Military Officer Found

The senior military who was reported missing over the weekend has been found.

This was communicated by the Ghana Police Service in a brief statement on Sunday, February 26, 2023.

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) announced Lt. Col. Peter Amoah- who is attached to the directorate of army peacekeeping operations- had gone missing in a notice on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

The notice said the Officer was last seen on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at about 1530 hours in the general area of Burma Camp.

A day after the notice was issued, the Police Service issued a statement saying he had been found.

The statement said he was found by the Police in the Central Region and handed over to the Military.

Meanwhile, it said Police investigation continues to determine the circumstances under which he went missing.
