E/R: Otumfuo Foundation Takes Mobile Learning, Cocoa Training to Badukrom

The Otumfuo–AgroEcom Mobile Learning team is currently in Badukrom, Asene-Manso-Akroso District, delivering a two-week community outreach programme aimed at boosting literacy, digital skills, and sustainable farming practices.
According to a post by the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, pupils in the community are participating in guided English reading sessions and practical ICT lessons.
The sessions are designed to improve basic literacy and equip students with essential digital skills to meet 21st-century learning demands.
Community members are also benefiting from educational cinema screenings.
The Foundation said the screenings celebrate and promote Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and values, using film as a tool for learning and community engagement.
In addition, local cocoa farmers are taking part in interactive training sessions focused on good agricultural practices.
The training is intended to help farmers improve productivity while adopting more sustainable methods on their farms.
The mobile learning initiative, run in partnership with AgroEcom, is part of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation’s broader efforts to expand access to education and agricultural support in underserved rural communities.
