Customers Accuse Shell Of Selling Diluted Fuel

Some customers have accused Shell Service Station at Atimpoku in the Eastern Region of Ghana of selling a mixture of water and fuel.

In a video intercepted by opemsuo.com, an alleged victim of the incident, pumped some of the fuel on sale at the filling station into a plastic bottle to demonstrate the dilution.

The content alleged to be water was seen at the button occupying half of the content in the bottle with the fuel itself atop.

The Alleged victim recounted that after filling his car tank with fuel from that filling station, his car began to jerk after riding a few metres.

“We kept trying to start it but it wasn’t starting so we called a mechanic. He tried pumping out some of the fuel and this is what we had. They filled our tank with water. The fuel is what is floating at the top”.

He also showed a video of some other customers who had returned to the filling station to make a complaint about the fuel.
